"Chifa" is the result from the fusion of Chinese and Peruvian flavors, which originated many years ago after welcoming many Chinese immigrants who were first brought by the Spaniards to do hard labor.

As a result, a new kind of cuisine was born. Chifa offers dishes that evoke traditional Chinese cuisine, but with a whole new flavor! You'll find Chifas everywhere in the city, and these are the 2 closest to the apartment:
Royal
Royal is one of the largest and most up-scale Chifa restaurants in the city. It has a huge menu and dishes not served in other restaurants.

Madam Tusan
Madam Tusan is the Chifa venture of Gastón Acurio, Perú's most famous Chef. He's the one responsible for putting Peruvian cuisine on the spotlight worlwide, and he also owns one of the best restaurants in the world, "Astrid y Gastón".

So rest assured... you're experience here will most likely be top-notch. The menu is Gaston's own interpretation of Chinese Cuisine and Chifa, so it might not be as traditional, but the food is exceptional!
